Born in Barcelona, Elisabet's passion for music started at an early age as a chorister in various prestigous choirs, such as; The Palau de la Musica's Youth Choir, Lieder Camera etc., she then went on to collaborate with the Palau de la Musica's professional Chamber Choir performing in the major auditoriums and concert halls around Spain and Europe under the baton of leading National and International conducters. She studied Business Management whilst also studying music specialising in the flute. It was a few years later that she became focused on singing with a special interest in the opera genre, expanding her studies and graduating from the conservatoire ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya) where she perfected her vocal techniques with mezzosoprano Mireia Pintó, receiving additional training from Enedina Lloris, Ofèlia Sala and Xavier Mendoza, and taking part in master classes with tenor Josep Bros and mezzosoprano Nancy Fabiola Herrera. She has worked on repertoire with pianists such as; Pedro Beriso, Josep Armengol, Viviana Salisi, Luc-Olivier Sánchez and Marco Evangelisti.
In 2013, she was a finalist in the 7th edition of the I.nternational "Germans Pla - Ciutat de Balaguer" Singing Competition and in 2014 she was awarded a grant from the "Victòria dels Àngels" Foundation as a Prize of Excellence.
Her lirical soprano voice allows a wide range of repertoire, from oratorio to lied, and opera to zarzuela. Included in her many past projects is the debut of the opera Roses de Gos in Andorra directed by Gorka Sierra, and as a soloist in The Armed Man by Karl Jenkins at the Grec Festival in Barcelona directed by Salvador Brotons. In the 2015-2016 season she performed the opera La Voix Humaine by Poulenc in Moscow and Cagliari, the role of Juana in Bohemios directed by Miquel Ortega at The Palau de la Música Catalana, and within the oratorio field she was the soloist for performances of Psalm 42 by Mendelssohn and the Mass for Buenos Aires by Martín Palmeri. In addition, she gave several recitals, including two concert cycles "Música>BCN" and "Ópera en ruta" organised by the Barcelona City Arts Council. During the 2017 season, she will embark on the recital tour “Non ti scordar di me” with the tenor Josep Bros and accompanied by the pianist Marco Evangelisti at the Sant Cugat del Vallés Concert Hall, the Campoamor Theatre in Oviedo and the Principal Theatre in Palma de Mallorca.
